Member schools, senior associates, how to join, and where the PSB community is across the UK.
Over 40 junior and prep schools deliver the PSB, each with a Leader who plays a key role in moderation and inter-school liaison.
The PSB's relationship with senior schools is fundamental to its success. Senior schools provide staff for subject meetings, host meetings and conferences, and help shape the project. Almost every senior school — with the sole exception of Harrow — now accepts the PSB certificate for entry at 11+/13+ alongside their own requirements.

Senior schools interested in becoming Associate Members are warmly invited to get in touch →
A programme for private and state schools with exit points at 11+ and 13+, preparing young adults for senior school academically, personally, socially, culturally and spiritually — with member schools collaborating and sharing resources throughout.
Distinct from the International Baccalaureate, the PSB gives a complete record of pupil achievement — the result of collaboration between leading UK prep schools.
It empowers prep schools with rigorous academics and a balanced curriculum, promoting independent learning, technology, critical thinking, leadership and teamwork.
Aspiring schools start as partners and gradually integrate the PSB — beginning courses in Years 5 & 7, and awarding certificates in Years 6 & 8.
We'll talk you through membership, training and how the PSB fits your curriculum — and support you every step from partner to full member.
