As much as pupils, teachers gain hugely from the PSB. It is the ability to spend a day in each academic year discussing your subject with fellow practitioners and also colleagues from senior schools that makes the PSB unique.
Each school has a PSB Leader who is responsible for co-ordinating the PSB; this includes attendance at subject meetings and conferences, arranging visits to other schools, support from the General Secretary and our PSB Consultants, and sharing of resources across schools.
If teaching is about inspiring a love of learning, the PSB is a powerful tool in that objective.
All teachers in PSB schools can access shared resources and this is facilitated by the General Secretary. Teachers wishing to make use of this facility this should contact him on james.barnespsb@gmail.com
